 Meridian centre, a developing language course centre is the first and the unique in Albania to offer intensive courses for those students who want to continue their studies in Turkey . One of the main conditions of applying and being accepted in these universities is the result obtained by the first section of YOS test; the General Test of Knowledge and Skills for foreigners, prepared and exclusively administrated by the OSYM.
The test includes standard questions , which in order to be answered need deep knowledge, perspicacity, and practicing. Being one of the main international tests for those who desire to undertake the college studies in Turkey , the knowledge of foreign language, mathematics learned at high school and a good ability of reasoning might not be sufficient for the required results, especially when the time is limited with 90 minutes.
Our centre offers the YOS course programmed in 45 seances of 90 minutes; three times, twice or  once per week in compliance to the candidate's desire for the intensivity of the course. At the same time the students are offered the opportunity to chose among the three languages the course is offered at: English Turkish or Albanian. The teaching language doesn't absolutely affect the student's performance in the exam, as the questions of YOS are designed in visual basis with the usage of international conventional signs. However, in order to calm the candidates somehow anxious about this issue the questions are explained and the indications are given into two languages; Turkish and English. This is why we offer courses in both these languages, beside the one offered in the mother tongue.
The text chosen among many other for its clarity and concision in explaining to be the course book of mathematics is ‘', that is a contemporary edition published by one of the most qualified group of Mathematicians, experinced in education and in the preparation of students for YOS test. This edition is ecquiped with a broad range of exercises and multiple choise questions at the end of each chapter.
The course takers are equiped with another text the “““ prepared and designed for the teaching of abstract reasoning. This text is a contemporary edition published by one of the most qualified group of teachers in teaching the reasoning part of YOS., who are experienced in educating and preparing candidates for YOS as well as in the preparation of standard reasoning questions. This edition, too, is ecquiped with a broad range of exercises and multiple choise questions at the end of each chapter.
Practice goes together with the strategical theory and during the seances the students are given diverse tests, related exercises and informing brochures tightly related with the taught topic. In other words, after this course the candidates is not only assured the obvious improvement of the YOS test  score, at the same time he becomes ready to understand the lectures of college education thanks to the practical reasoning cultivated during this course.
The YOS course teachers are experienced and for an effective teaching with high results the groups are limited in number varying from 10 to 14 people per group. According to the necessities the classes are mantained in three different enviorments; in standard classrooms, in colloquial classrooms and in the multimedia room, where the lecture is accompained with visual materials. The lecturers time after time are avaliable for office hours and individual classes for students with problems in order to guarantee the success.
